Andrea Coughlin, M.A., CCC-SLP
Andrea earned her master’s degree from the University of Maine. Her experience in the field has been diverse working in schools and clinics, both in person and virtually, as well as Birth to Three and aquatic therapy. Andrea specializes in language development, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), speech sound disorders, and functional life skills. Her focus is on creating engaging, functional and individualized lessons for her students and clients. Andrea has certification in advanced Apraxia training and has completed many AAC training courses. Outside of work, Andrea’s interests consist of hiking, playing volleyball, and art.
Andrea’s FAVORITE thing about Voicebox is that her colleagues share the same passion for helping children of all abilities from different areas and backgrounds. “I love learning from my coworkers, my students, and their families. It deepens my understanding of communication from different perspectives”.
